Redkings Joins The Mobile Casino Market With New Android App

August 4, 2012 |

Mobile casino games can offer a lot of options for gamblers that are always on the move and like to enjoy their favorite games no matter where they are. Applications for mobile devices are starting to become very popular as online casinos try to expand into this market and keep coming up with new and better ways to offer their services to customers. Recently, some of the big names in the industry have started to declare their revenue for the first quarter of 2012 and results are simply astonishing for the mobile applications section. It is a great way to increase revenue despite the apps being free; it simply allows users to gamble more and always stay up to date with the latest promos, tournaments, games and basically everything else regarding their favorite casino games.

With such a fast growing market and with more and more users wanting to take their casino games wherever they go, it is great news when new names join in and offer a new mobile app. The most recent name to offer an Android application for casinos games is Red Kings, a large online casino. Currently, the app is only available for poker and it can connect to the Ongame network by both 3G mobile and WiFi connection.

The European VIP manager stated that this new software is available for all Android based mobile devices and that it has the same functions found in their regular software used for computers. This means that users can basically do everything from their mobile device; create an account, make a deposit, take advantage of all the casino bonuses, start playing and withdraw the winnings as well as everything in between.

The interesting thing is that the Android version was introduced first and that the iOS app will be available later this year. Most online casinos start with an iOS version due to the popularity of Apple devices but it seems that Android is the first priority for Red Kings.

At first glance, the software works very smoothly with easy to use functions and a lot of care towards unexpected interruptions due to the phone calls. Everything is fluid and the graphics are quite impressive so it will be a great option for Red Kings poker players. The only problem that some casino users might have is that the app only offers poker and even that is a bit limited; players can only access fixed, pot or no limit Holdem, heads-up games to a maxium of 6 players and full ring tables. It is very likely that this will change in the future as more users begin to use the app and demand more gaming options.

The start is very good, the software is pretty much perfect and everything seems to work very naturally so users can easily get lost in these poker games and even forget that they are playing from a smartphone and not from their home computer; all the needed information is right where it should be and that makes it very useful when on the move.
